The Functions of the Manipura Chakra:

Manipura Chakra Location
The ManipuraChakra relates to the digestive organs such as stomach, liver, and pancreas, as well as, solar plexus, and the middle back in general on a physical level. People with a proper functioning of the Manipura chakra radiate energy and possess an extremely healthy physique. Moreover, they enjoy healthy eating habits, and an extremely robust digestive system. They also possess a strong core body and a firm abdominal region. On the other hand, its malfunctioning gives rise to various digestive disorders, as well as, diabetes, and hypertension. In addition, people with poorly functioning of this chakra tend to experience chronic fatigue.
The Solar Plexus Chakra has a huge impact on the mental level, with its bright yellow chakra colors symbolizing the sense of self-definition and will power. Proper functioning of this chakra is essential for the growth of mental courage and fortitude, as well as, self-esteem, which allows people to surge ahead in their life irrespective of praise and criticisms they attract. They also become highly reasonable and assimilate knowledge to their advantage. However, any impediment to this chakra can lead to growth of cynicism and escapism, with people blaming other for their failure, or being excessively competitive.
On an emotional level, a healthy Manipura Chakra allows people to possess a warm personality, and high self-confidence, which allow them to balance their ego, and have playfulness and sense of humor while interacting with others. However, any impediment in the flow of energy through this chakra can lead to individuals becoming too stubborn or manipulative in their dealings with others, while also suffering from temper tantrums and self-centeredness.
Finally, a healthy Solar Plexus Chakra on a spiritual level allows individuals to revel in a sense of profound personal power that stems from a fundamental understanding of the intrinsic values. On the other hand, any blockage to this chakra leads to a lack of autonomy and growth of ego in spiritual pursuits, while also suffering from fear of death and worthlessness in life.
